What a party it was!!! Wow...full-house,
standing room only!!
The last time I saw a PBAOTTAWA party with that many folks were about four to five years ago. I mean
the place was 3/4 full already when I arrived at around 8 pm. Kudos goes to all the organizers/volunteers. I will not mention
names 'coz I believe that other than the volunteers / organizers /officers - the folks who have attended the party have played
a role in making this event a success - and since I really don't know everybody in a first name basis - it's best that I extend
my congrats and appreciation to everybody who's been involved in that party.
Several things I noticed are how the format is somewhat different (not to take anything away from our previous
events) - but this time, folks like me didn't have to say some speeches that will bore the attendees. Our MC's were able to
manage the party pretty good.Dancing was there and everybody seems to be having fun.
That gift basket was amazing - I somewhat have some regrets for not accepting it' coz I wanna
keep it as a memento on how hard our youth worked on preparing it - but it's ok - I hope the recipient will appreciate
and enjoy it.
Now, it's time to work on our practices and a couple more fundraising. We're having a 'General meeting' with
the rest of the Filipino-Canadian Community on April 25, 2008.
Here are the details:

Last but not least - I wanted to thank you all for the 'plaque' that I have received last Saturday. I really
appreciate it a lot. (yeah, I got teary-eyed but good thing it was dark) - but to tell you the truth, a lot of folks deserves
that more than I do - they know who they are (right 'Kumpare'?).
Anyways, regular practices will commence soon and wanna congrats the two finalist on Friday's championship
game.
Sincerely,
Coach Erle
